The love of truth

“Only the love of truth will keep us from the abuse of truth” – Vince Vitali.

Many think that truth is truth and that it stands alone and untouchable. However when we look closer we see truth being suppressed for various reasons. It can be simply avoided, or even sliced and diced to say something else completely (think main stream news media and their various agendas).

More in Store in 2018

More in Store in 2018

If God is unlimited, and He is, then it would be foolish to limit Him with either our ignorance or even unbelief. Just because we cannot see some things, does not mean that they don’t exist.

In the mind and heart of God good things are in store for us in 2018. Let us wait upon Him and listen to the future as it speaks to us (God’s promises, prophecies and perspectives – the future- are all found in His Word).

Make this your practice this year: sitting at His feet – and see the difference.

Yet he was somewhat impetuous. Perhaps he was just like someone you know in the faith. One day they’re up and then the next they’re down. Maybe that one is you … or me.

The exchange: strength for weakness

The exchange: strength for weakness

When you contrast God’s strength with man’s weakness, you get a glimpse of why God set in motion a series of covenants to redeem and restore us to the former glory He intended for us.

I know God is able but is He willing in my case?

Many Christians believe that God is indeed almighty – that he can do anything He wants. He is able to do the miraculous. Yet they are often not sure that He is willing in their case.
