Revelation: bringing what is not obvious out into the open

Everything is not always obvious. Very often we need God to unveil His truth to us in such a way that we get it. He most often uses the Holy Spirit working with the Word of God to reveal what He is wanting us to know about a situation, person or problem.

He has freely given us all things that pertain to life and godliness and desires that we walk in victory as we operate in His divinely given wisdom.

Consider these two scriptures:

2 Peter 1: 2-4
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Ephesians 1:16b- 19
making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding
